Sizing a pack
Easy bikes commonly run on 48V or 60V systems. With 3.2V LiFePO4 cells:
- 48V system: 16 cells in series (16S) = 51.2V nominal.
- 60V system: 20 cells in series (20S) = 64V nominal.
- Capacity: 100Ah cells such as EVE LF100LA give a 51.2V 100Ah (5.12kWh) pack; parallel groups of EVE C40 20Ah cylindrical cells are an alternative for lighter vehicles.

If the vehicle runs daily, you plan to keep it for years and can afford the upfront cost, LiFePO4 usually saves money over time. If the vehicle is old or rarely used, a new lead-acid set may still be the practical choice. Always check local rules and get a qualified technician to install the pack.
